Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet area located in The West Island of Montreal is an example of a "sleepy" place. In reality, the West Island, to those who don't know about it, is a large region that runs from Lachine to the west. Amanda Brugel was born there although her time in the city wasn't long. Brugel grew up in Courtice near Oshawa Ontario. She had a dream to become an elite dancer, however because of a huge expansion, she outgrew every one of her dancing colleagues. The article she wrote about her experience revealed published by The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall when wearing heels. As soon as I was able to outgrow male friends, I quit. Many former dancers turn to acting, and Brugel was not an exception. Drama teacher in her high school was able to push Bruce in the direction she wanted to go in. The teacher suggested that she pursue a role for the annual school production. She was the teacher who suggested that she go after a role in the school's annual show. The show led her to receive a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theater Program and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000. Over the past 20 years since Brugel has landed roles in over 60 shows on the small and big screens receiving the most media attention, when she was cast as Rita in the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel was the sole Canadian on the Season 1 The Handmaid's Tale cast and only seen occasionally was the only Canadian.

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013).
